Our Story
We moved to Detroit in 2015 with a focus on building our careers and finding our footing, but over time we fell in love with the city in ways we never expected. Each summer brought new discoveries — cozy neighborhood corners, hidden speakeasies, unforgettable restaurants, and layers of history that deserve to be remembered. As we traveled, we noticed people’s reactions begin to change whenever we said we were from Detroit. More and more friends, visitors, and travelers started asking us where to go, what to see, and how to experience the city like a local. That growing curiosity inspired us to create a platform that brings together the best of Detroit to help others plan meaningful and memorable visits. Detroit is no longer a city making a comeback — it has already arrived.
